This 7days safari is a unique opportunity to encounter 3 primate members (Gorillas, Chimpanzees, and Golden Monkeys) in their different habitats of Kyambura, Bwindi impenetrable, and Mgahinga Gorilla national parks Coupled with a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to watch big animals presiding supreme over the small ones.
Entebbe International Airport
Amity Safaris’ driver-tour guide will pick you from Entebbe International Airport upon arrival, briefs you about entire safari and take you to the hotel for resting a waiting for the real adventure. In the remaining hours, you can choose to go for a city tour where you can taste local dishes and visit to historical places around Kampala city

After an early morning breakfast, you will board your safari car and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will go through Kampala-Masaka highway with a stopover at the equator for photo shoots and buy souvenirs then proceed to Mbarara city where you will make another stopover at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a home to over 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species and understandably Uganda’s most popular tourists destination.
Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will register and go for a game drive in search of various encounters including antelopes, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, lions, and many more others including various bird species.

The tour will commence with morning breakfast and then set off for chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura or Kalinzu forest an incredible experience lasting for 3-4 hours upon which you will turn back to lodge for a lunch break. In the afternoon you will take a boat cruise along Kazinga channel to encounter several aquatic life including hippos, elephants drinking from the river, crocodiles and a variety of bird species and thereafter return to the lodge for a well-earned rest.

Today’s adventure will commence with a morning breakfast and there after you head to the south of the Park arriving in Ishasha sector in the late morning. While in this area you are likely to see tree-climbing lions an exciting moment of your safari that will surely give you a life lasting memories.
Lunch will be packed or make a stopover in Kihihi for a lunch break and shortly proceed sighting spectacular mountainous landscape of Bwindi Impenetrable forest towards Ruhija sector where our Mountain Gorilla trek will start the next day. While you will arrive in the afternoon you may choose to go for a community walk and learn more about the area.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a home to half of the world’s Gorilla population and a tropical forest spread over mountains and valleys and is considered one of the richest forests in Africa biodiversity-wise making it a remarkable destination for mountain gorillas trekking.

The day will commence with an early morning breakfast and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest headquarters for a briefing by game rangers on the eve of the trek about the entire Gorilla trekking process. After briefing you will start your trek through the thick rain forest vegetation lasting for about 2 to 6 hours depending on where the Gorillas will be found but spotting them will be worth it and paying off.
After trekking, we will head to the south in the district of Kisoro, a few kilometers from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where we shall have our Golden Monkey trekking on the following day

Lodge: Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge, Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge or equivalent depending on availability
Upon your breakfast in the morning, you will head to Mgahainga Gorilla National Park for Golden Monkey trekking. Trekking of these rare species will last for 3-4 hours coupled with astonishing views of the peaks of the Volcanoes National Park. Complementary to golden monkey trekking, sighting of bird species such as the Rwenzori Turaco, the Colobus and many more others is most likely.
After the trek we will head to Amajambere Iwacu Community Camp (AICC) for a lunch break and shortly after, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi the “Little Switzerland of Africa” and the Africa’s 2nd deepest lake after Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. Arriving early afternoon, you will go for boat canoeing exploring green and lush terraced hills and various bird species and thereafter head to the lodge for dinner and a well-earned rest.

This will be the last day of your 7 days Uganda primates and wild life adventure. The day will commence with a morning breakfast upon which you will head back to Kampala/Entebbe for a return flight. On your way you will make a stopover at equator line for lunch break and extra photo shoots if you wish and then drive to Kampala and be dropped off to Entebbe International Airport for your return flight or at the Hotel for your stay.
