Queen Elizabeth National park is famous for its abundant wildlife including African Elephant, African Buffalos, Lions, Uganda Cobs, Leopards, Warthogs, Hyenas, and many more. Overall, Queen Elizabeth National park is a mighty home to over 90 mammal species and over 600 bird species while its counterpart Bwindi National park is a home to a half of the world’s remaining Mountain Gorillas population. An adventure covering these two destinations will therefore give you a better understanding of Uganda’s wildlife diversity and a life time experience.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
Amity safaris’ driver-tour guide will pick you up very early in the morning (7:00Am Kampala time) either at Entebe airport or at hotel of your stay in Kampala and then embark on a long drive journey of approximately 8 to 9 hours to Bwindi national park in the south western part of Uganda. On your way you will have stopover at Equator for Photo shoots and hand craft shopping if interested. Proceed to Mbarara town where you will make another stopover for Lunch at Igongo cultural center and continue to Bwindi National Park through the scenic views of rolling hills covered with greenery vegetation of tea and Banana plantations.

Lodge: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge, Buhoma Community Rest Camp or Ichumbi Gorilla Camp Lodge depending on availability
The day will commence with early morning breakfast and then proceed for briefing by game rangers at the eve of trek about the entire Gorilla trekking process. After briefing you will start your trek through the thick rain forest vegetation lasting for about 2 to 6 hours depending on where the Gorillas will be found but spotting them will be worth it and paying off. Upon spotting these amazing human like creatures, you will be allowed 1 hour to observe their behaviors and taking photos.
After trekking, you will return to the lodge to check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha sector with a high chance of spotting tree-climbing lions.

The tour will commence with morning breakfast and then set off for game drive along Kasenyi plains lasting for 2-3 hours in a 4X4 tourist vehicle encountering a wide range of wild animals and birds. Expected encounters include Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards, Warthogs, and a wide range of bird species. Get back to the Lodge for Lunch break and then go for a boat tour along Kazinga channel in the afternoon to encounter several aquatic life including hippos, crocodiles and variety of bird species and there after return to lodge for a well-earned rest.

Upon morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and board our safari car for a return journey to Kampala for your flight or your stay at the Hotel. On your way to Kampala, you will make a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch at Igongo cultural center and then proceed with a drive to Entebe airport for your flight or to a Hotel in Kampala for your stay. Dropping off to airport or to a hotel will mark the end of your 4 Days wildlife and Gorilla trekking in Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi national parks from Entebe safari and we shall have to wish you a safe flight back to home and perhaps greetings to your loved ones.
