This 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla trekking safari is made to provide you with a gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda- a land of a thousand hills. Spend some time in the northern part of Rwanda for gorilla trekking and scenic views of the Virunga Mountains.
Kigali International Airport
Amity Safaris’ driver-tour guide will pick you up either at Kigali international airport or at the hotel of your stay, brief you about the entire safari and then proceed for Kigali City Tour before heading to Volcanoes National Park. While on this tour you will visit Kigali Genocide memorial site where over 25000 bodies of victims of 1994 Rwanda genocide were buried.
After the city tour, you will have lunch break and then head out of the city to Volcanoes national park in northern part of Rwanda where mountain gorilla trekking will take place.

Lodge: Tiloreza lodge, Ingage Park View Lodge or any other equivalent depending on availability
The day will commence with early morning breakfast served at the lodge and then proceed for briefing by park officials at the Park Headquarters about rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. After briefing you will start your trek led by game rangers through the thick rain forest vegetation for about 1 to 6 hours depending on movements of Gorillas inside the forest. When these gentle giants are encountered, you will spend one hour in a close vicinity taking photos and observing their human like daily interactions and then head out of forest to the lodge for resting then later have your dinner and overnight stay.

This is the last day of your 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking safari. Upon checkout our driver tour guide will pick you up from lodge and start your road trip back to Kigali for your return flight. While on your way to Kigali you may choose to pass by Ibyiwacu cultural village for an optional Rwanda cultural tour to explore country’s rich history and culture.
