This 10 days safari in Uganda takes you to the most notable tourists destinations with a diverse array of wildlife encounters including big 5, Chimpanzees and mountain Gorillas alongside visits to the most impressive natural wonders-the likes of Fort Portal Crater Lakes and Murchison Falls-world’s most powerful waterfalls.
Destinations includes Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking, Murchison Falls National Park for game drive and a boat cruise, Kibale Forest for Chimpanzee trekking, Queen Elizabeth National Park for sighting of rare species of tree climbing lions and Bwindi National Park for mountain Gorilla trekking. Other destinations are Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for Golden monkey trekking, Lake Bunyonyi for a traditional dugout canoe experience and lastly Lake Mburo National Park for wildlife not encountered in other parks such as Topi, zebras, impalas, elands, and reed-buck among others.
Our professional driver tour-guide will pick you up at 8:00am Kampala time at either Entebbe International Airport or at hotel of your stay, briefs you about the entire safari and then drive you to Murchison falls national park. The drive will go through Luwero-Gulu high way making a stopover at famous Luwero triangle to visit Ziwa rhino sanctuary for the white Rhinos tracking and learn about their daily interactions and then continue to Masindi town for Lunch.
After lunch the drive will proceed to Murchison falls national park arriving in the evening. Check in into your booked lodge, wait for dinner and then have your overnight rest.

The trip will commence with early morning breakfast and then set off for game drive in the park to encounter a wide range of wild animals and birds. Expected encounters include Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards, Giraffes, Warthogs, Antelopes and birds like Shoe bill stork, Grew crowned cranes-The Uganda’s National birds and the Goliath heron-The world’s largest heron. Get back to the Lodge for Lunch break. After lunch, you will go for a boat trip at the Liver Nile hoping to see crocodiles, hippos and a variety of unique water birds. After boat trip you will proceed with a hike to the top of the falls for spectacular views of the Murchison Falls and memorial photographs. Return to the lodge for dinner and night rest.

Upon morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and board our safari car for a transfer to Kibale Forest National Park a home to over 1450 endangered Chimpanzees and Africa’s top destination for chimpanzee trekking. The drive will go through incredibly scenic views of lush green countryside and hills dotted with tea plantations for 7-8 hours arriving at the park in the evening and check in into your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay awaiting chimpanzee trekking on the following day.

The day will commence with an early morning luscious breakfast at the lodge after which you will head out with your picnic-packed lunch and water to the park office for a briefing about the rules and regulations in regard to trekking these endangered human-like species. After briefing you will enter the forest led by park rangers for security and guidance to track Chimpanzees for about 2-5 hours and while tracking, encountering other primates like colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys is most likely.
When Chimpanzees are spotted in their home forest you will be allowed 1 hour to observe them and get to learn more about their human-like behaviors, take pictures as well, and return to the lodge for lunch break. Proceed with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with en-route to Fort Portal Crater Lakes another incredible spot for memorial photographs. On your road trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park you will enjoy spectacular views of Rwenzori mountains and Lake George among others lasting for about 4 hours drive with en-route at the Equator arriving late in the evening. Check in into your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay

The day will commence with an early morning luscious breakfast at the lodge and thereafter you head out for the game drive at Kasenyi plains where you will encounter several wildlife species both big and small. The park is famous for its abundant wildlife and expected encounters include African Elephant, Buffaloes, Lions, Uganda Cobs, Leopards, Warthogs, Hyenas, and antelopes among others.
After the game drive in the afternoon, you will get back to the lodge for a lunch break and thereafter go for the boat cruise at Kazinga channel for an additional wildlife and bird watching adventure cruising through the intersection of lake Edward and Lake George. While on a boat cruise expect magnificent encounters such as hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species upon which you will return to the lodge to dine and have a well-earned rest.

After morning breakfast, you will head out to the south of the Park arriving in Ishasha sector in the late morning where you will most likely see rare species of tree-climbing lions an exciting moment of your safari that will surely give you a life lasting memories. After watching these rare species of tree-climbing lions the drive will proceed with a stopover in Kihihi town for en route lunch and shortly proceed with sighting of spectacular mountainous landscape of Bwindi Impenetrable forest towards Ruhija sector where our Mountain Gorilla trek will start the next day. While you will arrive in the afternoon you may choose to go for an optional community walk and learn more about the area.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a home to a half of the world’s Gorilla population and a tropical forest spread over mountains and valleys and is considered one of the richest forests in Africa biodiversity-wise making it a remarkable destination for mountain gorillas trekking.

After an early morning breakfast, shall proceed for a briefing with your picnic packed lunch at Bwindi National Park headquarters by game rangers about the entire Gorilla trekking process including Dos and Don’ts while with these human-like creatures “The mountain gorillas”.
After briefing you will start tracking through a thick rain-forest vegetation lasting for about 2 to 6 hours depending on how far or close the Gorillas will be spotted. After spotting these creatures you will be allowed a maximum of 1 hour an exciting moment to observe and learn about their routine human-like interactions. After trekking, we will head to the south in the district of Kisoro, a few kilometers from Mgahinga Gorilla National park, where we shall have our Golden Monkey trekking on the following day

Upon your breakfast in the morning, you will head to Mgahainga Gorilla National Park for Golden Monkey trekking. Trekking of these rare species will last for 3-4 hours coupled with astonishing views of the peaks of the Volcanoes National Park. Complementary to Golden monkey trekking, sighting of various bird species such as Rwenzori Turaco, the Colobus and many more others is most likely.
After the trek we will head to Amajambere Iwacu Community Camp (AICC) for a lunch break and shortly after, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi the “Little Switzerland of Africa” and the Africa’s 2nd deepest lake after Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. Arriving in the evening you will check in to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay awaiting the next day’s adventure.

After your morning breakfast you will head out for traditional dugout canoe trek on Lake Bunyonyi which will introduce you to the major islands and their rich history. Complementary to traditional dugout canoe trek, you will enjoy scenic views of green and lush terraced hills and various water bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch and there after check out and transfer to Lake Mburo national park arriving early evening, check in to your booked lodge and take a rest waiting for dinner and overnight stay.

The day will commence with morning breakfast at your lodge and set off for a sunrise game drive through Lake Mburo Savannah plains in search of wildlife that were not encountered in other parks. Expected encounters include olive baboon, white-tailed mongoose, side-striped Jackal, topi, zebras, impalas, elands, and reed-buck among others.
After the game drive, you will proceed with road trip to Entebbe International Airport with en route stopover at the Equator line for more memorial photos and handicraft shopping, proceed to the airport for a flight out of Kampala back to home or next destination.
